1. About BuyWise Verified

BuyWise Verified provides NFC-enabled smart business cards and associated digital profile services designed to make professional networking and contact sharing easier.

Our products may include standard monochrome cards, custom full-colour cards, Elite Steel cards and other products introduced from time to time.

2. Orders and Payments

1. 2.1.All orders are subject to confirmation and availability.
2. 2.2.Product prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).
3. 2.3.Any delivery charges or additional costs will be communicated to the customer before the order is finalised.
4. 2.4.Orders will only proceed to production once the required payment has been received and the necessary customer information has been supplied.
5. 2.5.Customers are responsible for ensuring that their order details, contact information and selected product specifications are correct.

3. Design and Personalisation

1. 3.1.BuyWise Verified offers personalised designs on selected smart business cards.
2. 3.2.Where a design proof is provided, customers are responsible for reviewing and approving the spelling, names, contact details, logos, colours and other design elements before production.
3. 3.3.Production will commence after the customer has approved the final design.
4. 3.4.Changes requested after approval may result in additional costs or delays.
5. 3.5.BuyWise Verified is not responsible for errors in customer-approved designs where the final product accurately reflects the approved proof. This does not affect any rights the customer may have under applicable consumer law.
6. 3.6.Customers must ensure they have permission to use any logos, photographs, artwork or other materials submitted for their card designs.

4. Production and Delivery

1. 4.1.The estimated order-to-delivery period is approximately 5–7 days, subject to receipt of payment, submission of all required information and approval of the final design.
2. 4.2.Customers will be kept informed of the order process where appropriate.
3. 4.3.Delivery timelines may be affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including courier delays, production interruptions or unforeseen events.
4. 4.4.Customers must provide accurate delivery details. Additional delivery charges may apply where an incorrect address results in a failed delivery or re-delivery.
5. 4.5.Any significant delay will be communicated to the customer.

5. NFC Smart Business Card Functionality

1. 5.1.NFC Smart Business Cards use Near Field Communication technology to share a customer's digital profile with compatible smartphones.
2. 5.2.Most modern smartphones support NFC, but compatibility may vary depending on the device, settings and operating system.
3. 5.3.Where provided, a QR code offers an alternative way to access the digital profile.
4. 5.4.NFC functionality does not require a battery or charging.
5. 5.5.BuyWise Verified cannot guarantee that every smartphone, device or third-party application will support every feature of the digital profile.
6. 5.6.Customers are responsible for checking that their digital profile contains accurate and appropriate information.

6. Digital Profiles and Customer Information

1. 6.1.Customers must submit accurate information required to create their digital profiles.
2. 6.2.Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have permission to publish any contact details, photographs, logos, links or other information they provide.
3. 6.3.Customers may request changes to their digital profile, subject to the features and functionality of the applicable service.
4. 6.4.Customers must notify BuyWise Verified if their contact details or other profile information need to be corrected or updated.
5. 6.5.BuyWise Verified reserves the right to restrict or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, harmful, offensive or infringes the rights of another person.
6. 6.6.Digital profile availability may depend on the continued operation of the relevant technology platforms and hosting services. We will take reasonable steps to address service interruptions.

7. Verified Badges and Branding

1. 7.1.The BuyWise Verified name, logo and badge are protected brand identifiers and may only be used with permission.
2. 7.2.The presence of a BuyWise Verified badge on a card does not, by itself, constitute a guarantee of a person's character, professional competence, business performance or future conduct.
3. 7.3.Any separate verification status or credibility assessment must be understood according to the specific verification process and scope communicated by BuyWise Verified.
4. 7.4.Customers may not reproduce, alter, distribute or use BuyWise Verified branding in a misleading or unauthorised manner.

8. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

1. 8.1.Customers who wish to cancel an order should contact BuyWise Verified as soon as possible.
2. 8.2.Where production has not started, we will consider cancellation requests in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the order.
3. 8.3.Once a personalised product has entered production, cancellation may be subject to the applicable legal requirements and the work already performed.
4. 8.4.Nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes or limits a customer's rights under the Consumer Protection Act, Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or any other applicable law.
5. 8.5.Where a product is defective, unsafe or does not meet the legally required standards, the customer may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with applicable law.
6. 8.6.Customers should report incorrect, damaged or defective deliveries as soon as reasonably possible so that the matter can be investigated and resolved.
7. 8.7.Any applicable online cancellation or cooling-off rights will be honoured in accordance with the law.

9. Acceptable Use

Customers agree not to use their smart business cards or digital profiles to:

• Share fraudulent, unlawful or misleading information.
• Impersonate another individual or business.
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Distribute harmful, offensive or prohibited content.
• Engage in activities that compromise the security or proper operation of our services.

10. Intellectual Property

1. 10.1.The BuyWise Verified name, logo, branding, website content and original design elements remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.
2. 10.2.Purchasing a smart business card does not transfer ownership of BuyWise Verified's intellectual property to the customer.
3. 10.3.Customers retain responsibility for ensuring that materials they submit for custom designs do not infringe third-party rights.

11. Privacy and Personal Information

1. 11.1.BuyWise Verified respects customer privacy and handles personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including POPIA.
2. 11.2.Customer information may be used to process orders, create digital profiles, provide customer support and fulfil contractual obligations.
3. 11.3.Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
4. 11.4.Customers should review our Privacy Policy to understand how their information is collected, used, stored and protected.

12. Limitation of Liability

1. 12.1.BuyWise Verified will take reasonable steps to provide reliable products and services.
2. 12.2.We are not responsible for interruptions caused by third-party networks, mobile devices, internet service providers or external platforms beyond our reasonable control.
3. 12.3.Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability arising from gross negligence where applicable.

13. Changes to These Terms

BuyWise Verified may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services or legal obligations.

The latest version will be published on our website, together with its effective date.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable South African law.
